As a financial journalist and Senior Consultant in PR- and IR-Consultancies Axel Pothorn (M.A. * 1963) gained vast experience in the demand of companies for advice concerning media work and financial communication – particularly during phases of difficult market situations. Those experiences led to the setting up of Pothorn & Partner communications consultancy in 2002.

Axel Pothorn has published numerous articles on matters relating to Public Relations and Corporate Communications. Axel Pothorn is a member of the Deutscher Journalisten Verband (DJV) and holds a Masters Degree in political sciences and law.

Apart from the team at the location Hamburg Pothorn & Partner offers its clients a network of well-established cooperations with specialists covering the whole scope of communication.

In Frankfurt / Main Edelgard Jacobs is place to our service as an expert partner for financial reporting. In Zug, we team up with Steven Loepfe, Loepfe & Partner, a well established PR-agency, which has an excellent reputation throughout Switzerland. Furthermore we cooperate with Dan Gagnier at Sard Verbinnen & Co., a leading consultancy in the USA. Depending on the conceptual formulation and the requirement we can start our competent activities for our clients instantaneously.
